With six Grammy’s and now two BRIT Awards under her belt this month, it is obvious that 2012 is Adele’s year! Surely she has made a dent in the music world, so let the girl talk…or she’ll shoot you the bird!
Adele had a smashing night at the 2012 BRIT Awards on Tuesday. Her album “21” won Album of the Year and she took home the honor of Best British Solo Female Artist. But her victorious celebration was cut short when host James Corden had to step in to introduce Blur for the finale performance.
The “Rolling in the Deep” singer was stunned that she wasn’t allowed to finish her acceptance speech, so she let her disapproval show!
“You##Q##re gonna cut me off?” said Adele as Corden approached her, and then added, “Can I just say then, goodbye, and I’ll see you next time round, then.” She then proudly raised her middle finger with a smile on her face.
The witty Brit later clarified her intentions by saying, “I##Q##m sorry if I offended anyone, but it was the suits that offended me…Thank you all very much and thanks to my fans. I don##Q##t want them to think I was swearing at them.”
We still love you, Adele!
