It has been a decade since 8 Degrees have performed together! Remember when Nick Lachey was still married to Jessica Simpson? Yeah, it has been that long! The boys, or men rather, of 98 Degrees have come back together this summer for a few performances.
Nick, Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre performed on the “Today” show’s summer stage yesterday for the first time in ten years. Nick said, “It’s great to be back together and do what we love to do together on stage.” Drew added, “There’s back pain, throat pain, knee pain, ankle pain, hip pain. Our menu went from like steak and lobster to Metamucil and prune juice.”
98 Degrees performed their hits “Because of You,” “Hardest Thing,” “I Do (Cherish You)” and “Invisible Man.” Nick said on “Today,” “We view this opportunity as a chance to kind of test it out and see if it was still fun, and I think we’re all very happy to say we’re having a great time. I think you can expect more from us down the line.”
The guys of 98 degrees will make an appearance at the Mixtape Festival in Hershey, P.A. today. After the show, 98 Degrees plans on getting back into the studio.
Hmmm…the Backstreet Boys have reunited with Kevin, 8 Degrees are recording new songs…maybe NSYNC will be next? One can hope!
