In the midst of a sad night, the remaining members of the original Beach Boys united in honor of their 50th anniversary with Maroon 5 and Foster the People to put on a fun performance with some of their old songs at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Maroon 5 opened with “Surfer Girl” followed by Foster the People singing “Wouldn’t It Be Nice.” The Beach Boys then appeared to perform “Good Vibrations,” which lifted the audience members to their feet.
The legendary rock band was spot-on and looked happy to be together again, as we were too!
Did you think the reunion was a complete success or a bit too rusty?
