The 2012 BET Awards will be live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, and confirmed performers include Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj.
Kanye West leads the nominations with 7, including 2 Video of the Year nods for “N—In Paris” and “Otis”. Beyonce notched 6 nominations while hubby Jay Z earned himself 5 nods.
Big Sean has 3 nominations, for breaking through last year with his debut LP “Finally Famous”. Chris Brown, Usher and Bruno Mars are among the nominees in the Best Male R&B category, while Beyonce, Mary J. Blige and Rihanna will duke it out in the Best Female category.
The Throne, Diddy-Dirty Money, Maybach Music Group and Bad Meets Evil will fight for Best Group.
