Phillip Phillips##Q## mom was arrested under suspicion of DUI earlier today, TMZ is reporting.
The American Idol winner##Q##s mother, Sheryl Phillips, was swerving her van across multiple lanes of traffic in Albany, Georgia.
An undercover officer administered a field sobriety test, which Sheryl failed.
Phillips is currently being booked for jail in Dougherty County.
TMZ has also learned that Phillip Phillip##Q##s parents had recently split up, maybe influencing Sheryl to drink.
