John Mayer still has loose lips and he’s always known for being totally outspoken in interviews. Especially when the topic at hand is ex-girlfriends.
From revealing intimate details of his sex life with “sexual napalm” Jessica Simpson to his fights with Jennifer Aniston over tweeting, the 34-year-old singer-songwriter doesn’t really know the definition of “lowkey”. Two years after Taylor Swift’s “Dear John” song released from the “Speak Now” album, John’s finally opening up to Rolling Stone magazine about how “humiliated” he was by his rumored ex’s song.

“I didn’t deserve it. I’m pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that,” John dished. “It was a really lousy thing for her to do. I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I’d already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you’ve ever been, someone kicked you even lower?”
Taylor’s “Dear John” song has lyrics like, “Dear John, I see it all, now it was wrong / Don’t you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so?”
John continued on to talk smack against Taylor as an artist. “I will say as a songwriter that I think it’s kind of cheap songwriting.”
You know, John. Giving interviews about your exes two years later ain’t that much better!
